Peste Noire Biography

The band was founded in 2000 under the name Dor Daedeloth, when they released their first demo "Aryan Supremacy". Then they changed their name to Peste Noire, which means "Black Plague", referring to the Black Death which destroyed Europe during 1340s.

Biography

The name Armagedda translates to "Jehova's Hell", and the reason that these people came together (A, Graav & Phycon) was to create some spiritual disease though music that would infect and destroy human minds. The band split-up in 2004. Any further releases consist of older material being found and released.

So many years have passed but I won't forget buying "The Final War Approaching" ! "Deathminded" is still haunting me!

Biography

Drudkh have managed to mix Folk Metal elements beautifully with their music. Formed by Roman Saenko, leading member of Hate Forest, Dark Ages & Blood of Kingu, and Thurios, leading member of Astrofaes, and also a former member of Hate Forest. 

A lot of the band's lyrics derive from 19th/20th Century Ukrainian Poets, especially Taras Shevchenko. A big part of their lyrics is not released, contributing to the band's "secrecy", not giving any interviews or having any official website run by them.

Biography

Nortt was formed in the Autumn of 1995. According to Nortt himself, it's an alliance with death and darkness, a journey on the left-hand path, a concept of nihilistic and misanthropic philosophy, preached through black funeral doom metal. The grave is praised as the godforsaken heaven where eternal darkness prevails. 

Necromancy influences are obvious! The first song I heard is "Døden...", and I can still recall my stomach hurting from trying to follow the song's tempo. The "Funeral Doom" tag, instantly had a meaning! 

The one-man band is still active, though silent since releasing the last full length album "Galgenfrist", in 2007.

Biography

The band was formed back in 1993 by Shatraug and Moredhel. When Gorthaur joined in 1994, they recorded their fist demo "Varjoissa". Nazgul joined in 1996 and with that line-up they recorded many of their most important albums, "Kohti Yhdeksän Nousua", "Haudankylmyyden Mailla", "Perimä Vihassa Ja Verikostossa" & "Sudentaival". That's when Nazgul left and formed his own band, Satanic Warmaster !

Corvus joined in 2002, stayed in the band for almost a decade, and along with Shatraug they have been the leading forces of the band in its most important releases. The band has played many live shows all over the world, and hopefully for us, they will keep on! Shatraug has kept alive the Horde for 20 years and there is no stopping him!
